I need suggestions on storage

I need suggestions on storage
I am officially not going to the thrift store any more - no more room. But there are three plastic bags behind my wicker chair that have clothes and in addition I have clothes on my wicker chair.

I cannot fit these in my closets. The only place that I can keep the three plastic bags is behind the wicker chair, however, keeping the clothes on the chair I am not crazy about. So how do I combine the clothes on the chair with the clothes in the plastic bags located behind my chair.

The problem is I cannot put the clothes that is on the wicker chair in a plastic bag and then put them behind the chair that would look awful.

Any suggestions - but nothing cumbersome

Voterperson,  Before when you asked this, you only had 2 bags behind your wicker chair.  Now you have THREE bags, plus more clothes on the chair?  Where did these extra clothes come from?  You stated earlier that you were going to stop buying for now, yet you wind up with another bag, plus more on the chair.  Why did this happen?  For now, you can probably put a bag under your bed.  But you know, voterperson, we are all supposed to help the poor.  Why not donate the few dollars that you spend at the thrift store all the time to a food pantry?  They are all crying for food right now, with the poor economy, and especially with Thanksgiving coming next week.  Just imagine the good feeling you will have helping someone with your money instead of buying more clothes.  You really need to get those clothes out of plastic bags.  Before too long, they won't be any good to anyone, not even you. Clothes need to breathe, they need air.  Keeping them in all of those plastic bags is eventually going to break down the fibers, and they will all be falling apart.  Then what will you do?  You can't keep buying more, and putting them in plastic bags, just for them to fall apart, and start to smell musty from not being able to breathe.  Please think about what you are doing, voterperson.  If you died today, what would happen to all of those clothes?  Your mom does not want them.  They will only wind up in the garbage when you are gone.  Plus no one wants to do all of that work, disposing of them.  Again, think about what you are doing, and I bet you will be much happier helping people this holiday season.

VP, I think Anna gave you some good advice.

In the meantime, perhaps you can store some things under your bed. They have boxes which are specifically designed for that now, so if you have room under there you might look into it.

Or does your Unit have a balcony? If it does, maybe you could stack a few bags out on the balcony where they'll be out of the way but clear of the weather.

The other thing you can try is putting one or two bags behind the drapes. They won't really be put away, but at least they'll be temporarily out of sight.

P.S. Does the thrift store sell furniture? Perhaps you could find a nice wicker trunk to match the chair, and store the extra clothes inside it, instead.

Follow anna's advise, I would also do the same for sure!
