I need to find a store that sells can crushers in Canada

In Ontario, Canada we have beer stores that reimburse the value of a can or bottle as part of the provincial recycling programme.

Naturally, flattened aluminum beer cans are easier to transport than the empty original ones.

If flattened, they need to still see that it's a beer can, not a soft drink can (for which there is no refundable deposit).

Many can crushers that I've found through web search crush the cans vertically, so you can no longer see the label. I'm looking for a horizontal crusher, so the label is obvious.

I've seen such devices on the net from UK sources, but I'd prefer to find one here in Toronto, Canada.

Any suggestions?

May I ask why it's important to see the label after crushing?  I thought you wanted to recycle the cans.

I explained that before. The people at the beer store will only accept

beer cans, not soft drink or any other cans. If they can't see whether it's a beer can or not, they assume it isn't and won't take it.

I think you'd have to crush them manually. This might actually be fun :-P

Put the can on the floor (on its side), and step on it as hard as you can. This way you flatten the cans, get a little exercise (though granted, very little), and even get some aggression out of the way.

It's ridiculous, but there's a refund for beer cans but NOT any other cans.
