how to plan meals
the ultimate foodie
Hi Carolyn
Soup is always a good way to start a meal for the elderly. It is full of nutrients and is warming. Elderly often have tooth problems so try to avoid tough food. Mash potato, rice, soft vegetables are all good options. Have plenty of protein but keep the meat soft, chicken should be fine but meatballs might be better.
i hope this helps.
