Do you need perfect teeth to become a dental hygienist?

Do you need perfect teeth to become a dental hygienist? My teeth are not not that great and have a lot of problem, but my family does not have money. I would really love to become a dental hygienis, but I need braces.I just turned 18 this year and have one year left of school and of insurance.  PLus i still need more cavities filled in. Should I just give up on this? Also if i were to get braces how much would it cost? How are braces compared to Invisiline?

Thank youSmile

No you don't have to have perfect teeth you just need an education. If you really want to do this then I'd say go ahead and maybe you will get to work for a dentist that can help get your teeth fixed. Think about it.

To become a hygienist is more focused on studies post high school. Level of education is more important. You can have work done slowly, bit by bit after you have been accepted. Some schools prefer you to complete dental assisting first.

I would say it would be easier to get a good job in a dental office if you have nice looking teeth.  Contact Smiles@SmilesForLess.Comthey might be able to help you.  They have the Hollywood Smile for $2,500.00 comparable to Lumineers that cost $15,000.00 be sure to give them a phone number to contact you at.  Good luck in your career choices.  No matter what you go to school for a beautiful Smile does open more doors.
