I need information about the history on th psaltry.
the psaltery is a stringed instrument which resembles an arched harp. It is dated as far back as 3000BC when it was used by the ancient Egyptians for funeral rites. The psaltery appeared in both Asia and Africa as well as Europe where it was used to accompany sroty and myth telling. More inforamation about this instrument here:
