How to Get A Relationship Started: Five Dates

Going for a long walk or a stroll around town can be very useful. It provides you both with time to admire what is around you, and share some information about each other. Stopping for coffee or ice cream along the way cannot hurt. Keep the conversation light, especially if this is a first date.

  Do an activity that is out of the ordinary. One day ski trips, hikes, fishing, kayaking, white water rafting as long as you enjoy whatever the activity is. This activity is more about having fun, it is important to have some things in common.

  On a fourth date, dial it down a notch. Make it a movie night or go play mini-golf. These are fun, but simple and can often lead to some good laughs. It also provides another opportunity for talking and getting to know each other better. For instance, what kind of movies does the other person like? I recommend a chick flick if you do go to the movies. A museum could be fun too.

  A Dinner Date
  Time to get romantic. Get all dressed up, and go out for a dinner. You can go to a charity event if you want, but going to a nice restaurant is fine as well. I'd recommend somewhere like the Capital Grille (multiple cities). Personal favorites are Italian, French, or Japanese. Something exotic (Persian, Brazilian could be fun as well).
