B 12 deficiency would be a simple answer but there are multiple medical diagnoses that would allow for both symptoms.

 

B 12 is essential to the formation of new red cells, helps in the functioning of the nervous system and in metabolizing protein and fat in the body.

 

There is very little information given and I always add: 'ask your own physician!'
