I need help to shave my long haired cat

Is there a way I can shave my long haired cat down to about one inch of hair. No tangles yet. He has been shaved many times by groomers and they say he is easy going. They charge me 70.00 and I can't afford it anymore. I have a people grooming set that I got at Walmart for about 20 bucks but I have never used it.

Yes you can however you have to be very carefull no to nick them as their skin will tear like paper

It is best to use a pet clipper you need to use a #10 blade only

You will also need help in holding the cat even the most easy going ones
