I need help

Is there any way to cash in a 401b retirement plan early? I have $9,000 in a 401b, and I am now on disability. I have had back surgery, am having knee surgery in less than two months, and have just been diagnosed with Lymes Disease. I owe my landlord about $8,000 for rent because I haven't been able to pay it. She has been so nice in letting me stay here because she feels sorry for me. How can I get to my money so I can get my rent paid? I'm going to be homeless.
