Have you contacted any of your local organizations to help...start with the gas and electric companies. There are churches and other organizations like Salvation Army, that can direct you to someone that can assist you. Fundraisers are community events to help individuals, like yourself. Your husband can volunteer to help someone and possibly receive some assistance himself. Nobody should be left out in the cold!
