I missed 1st season of NBC Heros.  Will I be totally out of the loop if I try to pick up new with the 2nd season?

Well I am pretty sure it won't be a problem the story line of the first season has ended and now it seems like a new story is beginning.

In regards to who's who yes. It may take some time for you to understand the storylines of these characters also....but you can get the episodes online...and their certainly worth watching!
