The number of Indians that lived in the U.S. prior to the new worlds intervention is without number, they were never counted,however it was a great number. After the advent of the english,french, and spaniards they're numbers began to decline drastically, some whole tribes were made extinct. The number of tribes population currently living here is just a mere piddling compared to back then. They deserve our utmost respect as they were here first, Americas founding fathers, full of greats wisdom.
