If you want to make peace you don't talk to your friends, you talk to your enemies. - Moshe Dayan

A nationally known pathologist has examined the ...

Former New York City chief medical examiner Dr. Michael Baden examined Kathleen Savio's remains on Friday and determined that she died after a struggle and her body was then placed in the bathtub where she was later found, Savio's family told WFLD-TV.

"She was beat up and placed in the bathtub as a cover-up for whoever done this," Sue Savio Doman, Savio's sister, told the Fox affiliate.

A coroner's jury initially ruled that Savio's 2004 death was an accidental drowning (despite there being no water in the tub). But now, with Drew Peterson's fourth wife missing for more than two weeks, authorities are re-examining the circumstances of Savio's death.

"There was marks on her hips, her arms, her elbows, on her legs, her feet. ... There was a struggle. She did fight," Savio Doman said.

Peterson, 53, who resigned this week as a Bolingbrook police sergeant, has not been named a suspect in Savio's death. But he is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth and current wife, Stacy, who was last seen Oct. 28, 2008 and whose case authorities have called a possible homicide.

What I want to know is how did the police botch the Savio case so badly? How could they have so seriously messed up the investigation as to rule the third wife's death as an accidental drowning when there was no water in the bathtub? Are they that incompetent?

Do you think Drew Peterson is responsible for his 4th wife's disappearance? What are your thoughts?

MY inferiority complex isn't as good as YOURS

Maybe they suspected he had something to do with it and botched the investigation on purpose.Cops take care of each other and who knows,he may have had dirt on them as well. It's so far contaminated now they would need his confession to prosecute, and then (if convicted) it could easily be overturned in a court of appeals. We may never know what he said to them or what really happened but that is my theory on Kathleen's death.

The new Mrs.Peterson I can't form an opinion about until a body is found.Maybe she just took off (unlikely) or maybe she had knowledge or was involved in the 3rd Mrs.Peterson's murder and had to be silenced.Either way it doesn't look good.

Sorry for the long and rambling answers,I'm an investigator for CPS :-)

I've been keeping a close watch on the Drew Peterson case, as I can't understand why they just don't simply arrest him! If Dr. Baden determined that the 3rd wife died of homicide, isn't that enough to charge him with murder?

Take the case of my son's suspicious death. Joshua was found dead in Amsler Park/McGregor, TX on Feb. 16, 2006. McGregor PD did not investigate, telling me, "We don't begin an investigation until something suspicious is found."

In June, 2006, four of the five officers, on scene, resigned simultaneously, for unknown reasons. All 8 McGregor officers knew my two sons, especially Joshua. The four of them stated they did not recognize him upon arrival, yet ran a wants and warrants check on the 'unknown' subject only 8 minutes later. After he was removed from the chain, some 45 minutes after the warrant check, the back of his shirt was pulled down, revealing ROBINSON tattooed across his upper back. An officer commented, 'because of the proximity to the Robinson's home, they figured he must be a cousin they had never dealt with.'

THEN, I found out that a McGregor patrol officer saw Joshua in Amsler Park @ 1AM, making him the last person to see Josh alive! I've asked which officer, out of two on duty, had seen Joshua. The former chief, Ron Wadkins, said, "I can't remember."

I know my son, and he would not take his own life, but I did have to consider the possibility, so I began my own investigation/research. It took me 3 years, and I am now 99% certain that he was murdered by McGregor PD!

But as you say, the 'Blue Code of Silence' is alive and well, as is the 'Good Ol' Counry Boy Network'!
