Looking for a name of an old movie

I'm looking for an old movie. All I remember is that in the last scene, a woman is standing on the ground looking up at a small airplane that suddenly explodes. She believs that the pilot is her friend and that he has just been killed, but than it turns out he was flying the plane by remote control to fool some agents that were chasing him.

Anybody recognizes the movie???

Doesn't ring a bell, but maybe you can give some additional information? How old is the movie, more or less? Do you remember any of the actors?

I was late for work this morning, because I got stuck in Zeno's paradox

I'm not sure this is the one, there was a movie called

The Running Man from 1963, starring Laurence Harvey. It is about a guy who fakes his death in order to get some insurance money

I think the movie you're looking for was called "Hopscotch". It starred Walter Matthau, who plays an ex-CIA agent and Glenda Jackson, who plays his girlfriend. It's very entertaining. I'm sure you'd enjoy seeing it again.
