Looking for the name of a metal band

I'm looking for the name of a certain metal band. I don't remember much about them, except that the late John Peel used to like them, and that most of their songs were very short, some of them shorter than one minute. I heard a few of their songs about 10 years ago and they were really good.

Actually John Peel liked quite a few metal bands. Maybe you're talking about Napalm Death? I know he liked them, and on

the wikipedia article about the band it says that  they recorded 2 peel sessions and that they are holding the guinness record for the shortest song ever.

Napalm Death are a good guess, I would also consider Doom - A crust-punk band, Carcass - grindcore band, or maybe Bolthrower.
