You can customize your MySpace layout with CSS. CSS is known as Cascading Style Sheets. For beginners, this is a little difficult to understand, but that's alright. All you really need to know, is that CSS overrides traditional HTML.
I can recommend the Kiwi Profile Editor, since that will give you a live interface to customize your profile on the fly and it will generate the code for you. You can check it out at:
