I am building a Fender Stratocaster deluxe ...

I am building a Fender Stratocaster deluxe player´s series, by parts from here and there. I want nothing but the best, so my question is what are the "best tuners" for a Stratocaster.

I'd go for Schaller of Gotoh. Most A-type fenders seem to sport these tuners. and make sure you pick the ones that suit your design. for insance a quick look on fender.com left me with this info: the american deluxe strat comes with Fender®/Schaller® Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed Locking Tuning Machines.

Stewart Mcdonald sells about whatever you want

www.stewmac.com, alco, if you need any help with the electronics, a great video thats cheap is on www.howtodothatvideo.com, a new site, just started, and they are going to be doing all kinds of fender mods with switches to put your pickups in series and paralell and keep all your stock settings. The wiring video gives you total tone control when playing on the bridge, something that fender did not do on lots of strats.
