I have a lot of music on discs from my Walkman (type S) mp3 player that I would like to transfer either to my computer or transfer to a new Colby MP3 player.  Is there any way of doing this?  I don't have the original CDs and do not want to lose this music.  HELP!  I'm also computer illiterate so all steps have to be described as if you were sending them to a child.  Thank you for any and all help you can provide.

you can load them on your computer with window media player....as well as many other media programs ....that can be downloaded of the internet...as far as your other player program....usually   there is a disc  with the device to download   for transferring the music to it. you will have to load that program into your computer first.

Yeah, so your computer just transfer a new colby mp3 player. It's always been like that and that's the way it will in all likelihood stay

You simply transferred your computer - nonsense.

Of music just transferred your computer - are you kidding? Someone involved has got to have some serious things to sort out
