i have inherited some very old sheet music of all kinds. Most is in good to great shape. Alot of it is from the italian book company in new york and stamped and dated. There is a wide range of music. can any help with the value of the italian music???is there a demand for classic sheet music??
Don't follow in my footsteps, I run into walls. =)
I'm not sure if there is a demand but I'd think you could take all of it to an antique music dealer in your area and find out. You can likely find one in your area on www.insiderpages.com. Good luck.
Yes, there is probably a demand for this music, especially if it is in good condition. Your best bet would be to take it to a music school such as Julliard or Eastman School of Music, or the library associated with that school. They could tell you what it might be worth, might even want to buy it from you. Depends on where you live, but make sure that you take it to a well known, college type of music school. Or even to a college or university library.
