How to put on muscles?

I am kind of skinny and I all my attempts to put on weight and muscles naturally have failed. I never tend to put on weight no matter how much I eat. My busy schedule does not give me the freedom to do physical exercises for more than half hour a day. I also live in a place that does not have a gym anywhere near. I do push-up at home, lift a few bar bells and that's pretty much it. But I am not able to see any changes after 6 months of this. I never develop muscle cuts and never put on weight as well. I want to know how useful these supplements you get the market are. I find all kinds of things ranging from whey protein to testosterone boosters. Do these work? Do they have any side effects? Any can anyone take them? If not can anyone suggest me some easier methods of putting on weight and muscles? I am going to get married in a year and I really want a better body image.

Every story has an end but in life, every end is just a new beginning.

It's likely a medical issue why you cannot put on weight. Try talking to your family doctor to see what you can do. Good luck.
