Well, the person responsible was found guilty 10 years later and sent to prison for life w/o parole.  You may be able to find articles about it in the Globe; Herald and Wakefield Daily Item if you call their archives dept.  It was a pretty gruesome event - but as usual - those types of things always get a lot of press.  On a personal note, it happened in the woods behind the house I grew up in.  They've since built homes now where it all happened.  Kind of creepy to think people are living there.  Hope this steers you in the right direction.
