you need to encourage cool designers to locate there, and establish a community.  That means having good cheap loft space available, which certainly wasn't the case for the last 5-10 years, but who knows, with the real estate market tumbling, it could happen. until people are located there and creating a scene, no one is going to pay much attention I think...

SF is an amazing city, full of creative people. However, its fashion show and few other events are not promoted nationwilde.

SF needs to re-position itself to face NY and LA and market differently.

I love fashion, SF, its people, its designers, and a lot of people here are like me.

I believe in the future of Fashion in SF;-)
