At least as far as the general public was concerned, the first feature-length film in color was the 1912 documentary "The Durbar at Delhi" (also known as "Delhi Durbar" or "With Our King and Queen Through India"), and the first full-length drama in color was the 1914 film "The World, The Flesh and the Devil."  However, it's possible that a full-length film in color -- "By Order of Napoleon" (also known as "The Story of Napoleon" and possibly also as "Checkmated") -- was released in 1910.  (I'm not sure whether this "feature film" was full-length or not.)

Color movies started nearly as early as film itself in 1895 with

Thomas Edison's hand-painted Anabelle's Dance made for his Kinetoscope viewers.
