What is the biggest movie of 2007? am just confused on what would be the biggest movie of 2007. i think it will be transformers. you what do you think?

My favorite for 2007 was a German film called

The Lives of Others, though I'm sure it didn't get as much traction as the Hollywood blockbusters. I think my favorite Hollywood movie was Mr Brooks.

Depends what criteria you use to define the biggest movie. "Atonement" won the Golden Globe for best dramatic movie, but I'm sure that it won't earn as much money as, say "I am Legend" or National Treasure 2".

I'd be interested to hear why you think Transformers was the biggest movie of 2007. It made less money that Spiderman 3 and Shrek 3, it wasn't nominated for any awards.

Maybe because transformers has been running longer on TV since 1983. Transformers made 3 billion rand selling merchandise .

Well, that may be true, but it has no bearing on the movie, which wasn't very similar to the TV series (although I admit, I was never a big fan of the series).

Besides, according to that logic, the Simpsons movie was on TV longer than the Transformers, so the Simpsons movie should be bigger...
