Did you know there is a "movement" to form a global economy and global government?

Did you know there is a "movement" to form a global economy and global government?

New World Order: The Scary Way to Say Globalism?

I really want to keep this short, but I want to brush over some big ideas. If you don’t have too much of an idea what I am talking about, I will underline buzz words for you to research (a.k.a. Google).
I have been looking into conspiracy theories for my own amusement lately. I found that its like being in the x-files Television show without having to leave my desk. Anyway, I started to find that many of these theories had roots in some seriously cool truth. The problem is that crazy people seem to spend a lot more time posting information to the web than anybody else and you wind up having to sift through theories about reptilian shape shifters and doomsday prophecies.
My main passion—this week—has been looking into the New World Order. This pertains to a conspiracy by factions of the world’s elite to stealth-manipulate the existing nations into one world government. Here is the kicker! A lot of the nuts have made it hard to even listen once the words “New World Order” are uttered, but there is some pretty interesting information that is not so crazy. Let’s brush away the doomsday/paranoia aspects and get to the meat of the topic.
Let’s start with the European Union (http://europa.eu/abc/panorama/index_en.htm). This started out as smaller communities devoted to paving the way to organizing European countries to make trade and such more universal. It grew into a supranationlist governing body. The EU is now responsible for passing laws that offer prison terms to those who even disagree with the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust (Google Holocaust Denial). I’m not the kind of guy to argue that the holocaust didn’t happen, but I’m not real comfortable with a law that may set a precedent for prison time for my religious beliefs—I don’t want to do time for not believing Jesus is the Messiah, but I’ll talk more about this another time.
The reason why the EU interests me so much, is due to the creation of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement), and Security and Prosperity Patnership (SPP) (http://www.spp.gov/). This follows the formula for the agreement that paved the way for the EU, and there have already been several summits to discuss universalizing trade between the United States, Mexico, and Canada. With the Bush administration pushing North American Summits during a period where the US executive branch had special privileges for signing economic treaties (Google Fast Track Authority) and NAFTA already in place, it is pretty easy to infer that we are on a similar path to the one that lead to the European Union… a path that leads to a North American Union (http://www.judicialwatch.org/SPP.shtml/). I have read some rumors about the Amero (like the EU’s Euro), but since then the American economy went into the shitter and Russia and China have begun talk of replacing the doallar with a global currency.
Now the simple theory is that the European Union and the African Union will be followed by the creation of the North American Union and then the Asia Pacific Union. Once this is complete, the four will be merged into a Supranationalist World Government or Global Union. This is all very simple and reasonable. It’s a very large idea, but it has been in the works since the end of WWII—listen to some George H. W. Bush speeches of the 1990’s. Also look into League of Nations http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/leagueofnations.htm, United Nations http://www.un.org/, Lucis Trust, http://www.lucistrust.org/, Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) http://www.cfr.org/, and Trilateral Commission http://www.trilateral.org/ just to get the taste of conspiracy on your lips.
The problem arises when the End-of -Days nuts start trying to mix the book of Revelations and aliens or reptilian shape shifters into the mix. When the government uses this as disinformation we call it "Spin", but when the theorist do it to themselves I call it "counter--fucking--productive!" I hate this kind of self-defeating propaganda… the conspiracy theorists completely destroy their own credibility by bringing religious claims and unsubstantiated fantasies into the mix. I am sure the spin doctors laugh at least assholes constantly while they take the day off.
The truth is that there is a globalist movement (let’s stray from the term conspiracy momentarily)—maybe a stealth-movement—aiming at bringing about a Global economy and government. The fact that rational people won’t even consider it because of the religious and lunatic connotations put on it by so many “conspiracy theorists” is a testament to the power of propaganda. The few sites that I have referenced in this blog are more trustworthy sites than the conspiracy sites. I also recommend looking up the underlined terms in a good encyclopedia. I do this because it should not be so difficult to find the barebones truth that you get discouraged from by talk of doomsday and shadow-governments. The facts lead in a specific direction. I’m not trying to scare anyone. I just don’t think it’s any good to be in denial of what is happening because of the wealth of misinformation out there.
I hope you found this blog interesting and thought provoking.

Time flies like an arrow.

Fruit flies like a banana.

The global economy exists now.  It is easy to convert any currency into any other.  We get peaches in the Spring, from Chile, and orange juice all year around from California, Florida, or Brazil.

If it took weeks for any physical object to get from Kansas City to Paris or Peking, and if information could only travel as fast as the physical object (a piece of paper) that held it, the Global Economy would not exist.  And when that was true, it didn't.

Does somebody control the Global Economy?  Not really, or what is happening now wouldn't be happening.  Does somebody (anybody) understand the Global Economy?  Again, not really, although many people understand enough to make money from things international.  Are there people who influence the Global Economy?  Of course; any business or political leader has some influence (how could he not).

Do we want to keep the Global Economy from crashing, as it now threatens to do? I think yes.  Do we think this can be achieved without some sort of coordination?  (Some economic theories think it can, but they presuppose a free, unrigged market and the rule of law; try achieving the rule of law without generally-agreed-on laws, law enforcers, and judges; try achieving that without coordination.)

Do we want this sort of coordination to be done by whoever runs the Global Economy, in secret, or more in public by (ugh) political leaders and bureaucrats as well as businessmen and tycoons?

The global economy is a fact, and has been a fact for over a century.  The first attempts toward global government (so much weaker and more spastic than our original Articles of Confederation) are just the attempts of the human race to make the planet more habitable, get some control over the conditions of our existence, or at least avoid making it uninhabitable and thereby causing our own extinction -- a real possibility because of the same power that has created the global economy.

Not liking what some people think about this is natural.  Wanting them and everyone else not to think about this is just nuts.  We have to do this, so let's figure out how to do it right (whatever we decide that is).

All this stuff is pretty new for me. I will look into the sites you have posted. Much thanks. I have read through some other sites and just can't get past the bullshit and have a hard time trying to figure out what has some truth to it. Even though some are rather convincing, I sure would like other opinions on some of these topics of conspiracy.

I tend to be ultra-conservative with my sources. I stay away from the doomsday and sensational stuff and try to let my sense of humor be the source of entertainment. You should check out my blog. http://scbaker713.spaces.live.com/

A lot of my stuff gets a bit wild, but if I am talking CFR the link is usually to their site. I like to use the exact documents. I did a piece on the North American Community and referenced their report and linked to the site where you can buy it. The only thing rediculous is the anologies and humor I employ. Let me know what you think. I love reading comments on my blog page. And point other people to it if you think it is worthwhile.

Good research on what you have listed in your question.

Another big part of the conspiracy is that of the central banks, which includes the Federal Reserve, with their main purpose to get every country into an unpayable debt situation.  All of the same names in the banking cartels show up in the CFR &  Bilderbergs such as the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, etc.   What I found a few days ago is very disturbing.   The creation of a new bank, called the World Conservation Bank, which would give a country who's debt is in default the money needed to pay it's central bank in exchange for that country's wilderness areas.   Handing over vast amounts of land as collateral.   The country most talked about that I've seen is Brazil, in danger of losing the Amazon River Basin and all of its natural resources.   This fits into their model of environmental conservation, but its a big step toward control of hugh tracts of land potentially worldwide.

The UN is very close with these groups too, and they have almost every country's ratification of The Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) which would give majority control of the oceans over to the UN.   The US is the only country that has not signed, but as of March 2009, the Senate was preparing to.  My guess is that Obama will hold a gun to their heads if he has to.

And, from the G20 meeting in London we had big steps taken to develop a global currency.

Yep, we're getting close...

A global economy, or something approximating it, is (per severed) at least in process.  It need not be a big problem; this admin. has shot down any possibility of common currency or anything more involved that we have now.

The real source of concern is a campaign for political globalism.  We have already lost over 4,000 lives, and our integrity, over this quest.  The idea (per Cheney) was that 20 uninterrupted GOP years would allow completion of the campaign.  We are safe for right now, but the quest is not dead, and eventually the GOP will return to the White House.

we're closr than any of us think, I believe.  The following was taken from a post by another member a few weeks ago after the G20 meeting.

On April 2, 2009, the work of July 4, 1776 was nullified at the meeting of the G-20 in London.  The joint communiqué essentially announces a global economic union with uniform regulations and bylaws for all nations, including the United States.  Henceforth, our SEC, Commodities Trading Commission, Federal Reserve Board and other regulators will have to march to the beat of drums pounded by the Financial Stability Board (FSB), a body of central bankers from each of the G-20 states and the European Union.
The mandate conferred on the FSB is remarkable for its scope and open-endedness.  It is to set a "framework of internationally agreed high standards that a global financial system requires."  These standards are to include the extension of "regulation and oversight to all systemically important financial institutions, instruments, and markets...[including] systemically important hedge funds."
Note the key word: "all ."  If the FSB, in its international wisdom, considers an institution or company "systemically important", it may regulate and over see it.  This provision extends and internationalizes the proposals of the Obama Administration to regulate all firms, in whatever sector of the economy that it deems to be "too big to fail."
The FSB is also charged with "implementing...tough new principles on pay and compensation and to support sustainable compensation schemes and the corporate social responsibility of all firms."
That means that the FSB will regulate how much executives are to be paid and will enforce its idea of corporate social responsibility at "all firms."
The head of the Financial Stability Forum, the precursor to the new FSB, is Mario Draghi, Italy's central bank president.  In a speech on February 21, 2009, he gave us clues to his thinking.  He noted that "the progress we have made in revising the global regulatory framework...would have been unthinkable just months ago."
He said that "every financial institution capable of creating systemic risk will be subject to supervision." He adds that "it is envisaged that, at international level, the governance of financial institutions, executive compensation, and the special duties of intermediaries to protect retail investors will be subject to explicit supervision."
In remarks right before the London conference, Draghi said that while "I don't see the FSF [now the FSB] as a global regulator at the present time...it should be a standard setter that coordinates national agencies."
This "coordination of national agencies" and the "setting" of "standards" is an explicit statement of the mandate the FSB will have over our national regulatory agencies.
Obama, perhaps feeling guilty for the US role in triggering the international crisis, has, indeed, given away the store!  Now we may no longer look to presidential appointees, confirmed by the Senate, to make policy for our economy.  These decisions will be made internationally.
And Europe will dominate them.   The FSF and, presumably, the FSB, is now composed of the central bankers of Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States plus representatives of the World Bank, the European Union, the IMF, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Europe, in other words, has six of the twelve national members.  The G-20 will enlarge the FSB to include all its member nations, but the pro-European bias will be clear.  The United States, with a GDP three times that of the next largest G-20 member (Japan), will have one vote.  So will Italy.

This administration hasn't stopped anything.  They're controlled by the same people that run the GOP.  Obama, Geithner, the Bush boys, Cheney, Clinton, Gore, they're all elitist puppets.  Our government has been hijacked out from underneath us.  Go after the CFR and Bilderbergs to find out where our trouble comes from.

It appears that to a large extent, these so-called secret new world orders are red herrings.  The real threat is The Project for the New American Century, whose membership includes Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc.  They are not secret; they apparently are comfortable that we will spend our time hounding after false conspiracy theories while they complete their agenda.

Information on the news in the past two days confirms, though, that our invasion of Iraq without cause was one of the open goals of the group--which devised a plan to use the American military to seize countries in the middle of foreign regions and go forth from them to conquer the region.

Look it up.  It's no secret.
