Whatever the task is: Whether it's a very clean house or losing 20 lbs visualize it done in your mind. Visualize it in very specific detail. For example picture your mirrors gleaming in the sunlight or people looking at you admiringly in that new dress. Then break the task in to chunks of three things at a time. With house work it would be something like: Undo your bed, put clean linens on, Wash dirty linens. Hopefully this helps.
