Is morning and afternoon coffee helpful or harmful to my diet? What are the pros and cons of caffeine?

Caffeine is actually a substance that's supposed to increase metabolism, but only if not taken on a regular basis.
If you don't take cream or sugar, I don't see how it can have much of an influence on your diet.
There are other affects of caffeine that probably should be taken into consideration, but those are way out of my league :-)
Nah... not harmful if you drink it black. You will get some energy from the caffeine if nothing else. It's a freebie with weight watchers, too. They say drink up.
