Have you ever heard a statement in the like of "Moral in politics is not the same as moral of individuals"? (A commonly cited implication is that the lives of a few should be sacrificed, if this would save the whole community (e.g. society, state, etc) and from the point of view of politics it would be a moral act.)

Is this view rooted in some specific political philosophy or even theory, or is it a mere speculation?

Either way, how would you comment that statement? Can we really keep have more than one moral in our conscience?

Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.

All one has to do is read what Thomas Jefferson said about moral principals.

Too bad he is not around today.

It is easy to talk the talk.  Any misfit can do that.  I'm calling your bluff.  I want to see if you have what it takes to join me, and walk the walk.

The only people who ever said anything like that are Stalin, Hitler, and their surly ilk: it is a handy way to exterminate selected races and religious groups while not resorting to outright genocide -- although genocide has never been far out of the discussion where liberals are concerned.

I, for one, do not buy leftist/racist games that require malignant paranoid hysteria to convince "The great Jewish conspiracy that they deserve to die in labs, so that we need not torment rats needlessly."  Josef Mengele.
