Hi,I am not sure about it but if you rented it for a fixed period of time (say a year) he can do it only if there is a clause that states that he can do it (give you a 30 days notice to leave)..... If there is not such a clause in your contarct he can't..... Think of this case: The landlord gets 500$ from you per month... now he finds someone that is willing to pay it for 575$.... all he'll have to do is send you a notice.... no ways.... and he can do it 20 days after you entered as well...... the tenent has right of his own..... As a tenent when the owner demands that such a cluase (30 days notice...) will be introduces, I would ask to add: If it's less than 9 month the owner will compensate the tenent with 2 months fee.... that is fair..... It least that's the way it works in Israel.Best regards,
