If my daughter was approved for social security ...

If my daughter was approved for social security disability child benefits, but doesn't receive any because i collect all that is available for my disability, can she collect off of her grandmothers social security.

Just to  avoid legal trouble, call a social sercurity office somewhere that you dont go to in another town and get advice.

I don't think so! Call SS, but if you are receiving the maximum allowed for your household, I don't see how she could qualify under her grandmothers SS.

Don't just rock the boat, turn it over, if you're not on it!

Just google social security all their rules are on their website. Tells you everything.
