More money?

My 12 lb Llahso Apso got loose from the front door of my house and  a woman walking a toy poodle just happened to be going by and my dog wlaked up to it and sniffed it then bit it.  I paid the 289$ vet bill and now she is taking me to small claims court for trauma and suffering.  I live in Ohio.  Could she really get more money out of me?
