(Song: Drake Bell - Makes Me Happy) *****Recap: Miley found herself falling out of love with Nick as she promised him to not mess with his relationship with Selena. She calls Selena thirty minutes later and apologized, telling her the exact same thing she told Nick. The two girls hung up, and Selena was feeling very joyful as she dialed Demi's number.***** Demi: (answering) Hello? Selena: (excited) Demi! It's me! Selena! Demi: (annoyed) What do you want? (Selena paused for a moment. She had been so excited about Miley calling her that she forgot that she and Demi had a huge fight. She sighed and thought of a reason.) Selena: (sincerely) Demi, I'm so sorry. Everything you said was right. I was only leaving because I couldn't stand being near Nick. That was the stupidest thing I've ever done. Demi: (muttering) You can say that again. (Selena rolled her eyes and continued.) Selena: (pleading) Demi, I'm sorry! I was wrong to consider leaving the school, okay? And now that Nick and I can be together - Demi: (interrupting) Wait a minute. You and Nick can be together now? Selena: (happy) Yeah! Miley just called me, apologized, and said she'd leave us alone! Demi: (shocked) No way! She did that? Selena: (thrilled) Yeah, she did. And she meant it. I could tell. So anyways, now that we can be together, I've realized what a horrible friend I've been to you. I hope you forgive me. If you don't, well, I'll still see you at school. (Demi smiled, her hatred for Selena melting away by the second. The fight was totally a thing of the past.) Demi: (ecstatic) Oh Selena, of course I forgive you! Selena: Great! Oh, I better go. My mom just got home and I wanna tell her the news. See you Monday? Demi: Yeah, see you then! (Selena and Demi both hung up, smiles plastered onto their faces. Their friendship was healed, Miley wasnt going to be terrible anymore, and their relationships would soon be better than ever. The two best friends were back on top.) ((THE NEXT DAY)) Aly: (shocked) You did WHAT? (Miley shrugged her shoulders with innocence. She knew that telling the girls about her meeting with Nick might end badly, but she still expected them to have a heart and understand her feelings. But they didn't.) AJ: (stunned) I can't believe that you're just going to give up. (Ashley snarled her upper lip and stared Miley straight in the eyes.) Ashley: (frustrated) Miley, are you stupid or just plain crazy? (Miley started to get angry at them all. They never understood her, even when she made it all very clear.) Miley: (furious) Look, what we did to Nick and Selena was wrong, and I realize that now. I only want to see Nick happy. And he's happy with Selena. (AJ let out a loud snort and glared at Miley.) AJ: (meanly) What, did you get that from a Hallmark card? (Ashley laughed loudly, and Miley curled her hands into fists. Enough was enough.) Miley: (yelling) You guys don't care! You're either obsessed with destroying people or obsessed with planning to destroy people! The three of you will never understand what it's like to actually do something that doesn't involve hurting people! And I'm done now. I'm done with you're stupid plans, you're stupid lies, and you're stupid thoughts! (With that, Miley snatched her jacket off the couch and stomped outside. She was so infuriated at her "so called" friends. Ashley, having a sudden change of heart, reached out and grabbed Miley's hand. She impatiently dragged her back into the house.) Miley: (screaming) Let me go! Ashley: (apologetic) Miley, don't leave! We promise not to harass Nick or Selena anymore. (Miley stood still as she thought about it. Then she realized that the hatred had to stop against everyone, not just those specific two people.) Miley: (mad) It's not just them, guys! It's Cody and Joe and Demi too! AJ: (shocked) What? You seriously expect us to NOT get payback against those jerks? Miley: (angry) Oh, come on! Joe moved on, and met a great girl. Cody, the nice guy he is, stood up to Aly! These are all good things! Aly: (with clenched teeth) Either you stay here and help plan with us, or you betray us all by leaving. (Miley, with sudden courage rising inside of her, rolled her eyes and glided to the door. She clutched the handle and threw the door back.) Miley: (happily) I hope you guys have fun planning. I'm gonna go live my life instead. (Miley scrambled out the door before the girls could stop her. Her hair was blowing in the wind as she ran, and she found herself giggling like crazy. Miley was finally free. And that made her very happy.) What will happen next? Find out in Episode 24!
