If your file contains mostly text you can try opening it with wordpad it is not the normal way to open these files but it is enough to get the html and copy the text.

Thanks for the answer, Rainlex - but the .webarchive file I have is quite complex, with a lot of images and maybe some flash, so that doesn't really solve my problem.

Install 7zip and extract the archive with it..

I tried 7-zip and it doesnt recognize .webarchive files. Any other suggestions?

I think the new Safari for Windows should open it, did you try it yet?

I also have a .webarchive file sent from a Mac user and I installed Safari 3 for Windows on my PC and still can't open it.
Any other suggestion except buying a Mac just to open a file?

You should be able to open it with Explorer, but not by clicking on it. Download the file to your desktop (or doc folder) and then open Explorer. Within Explorer, select file -- open file -- and then choose the .webarchive file. Worked for me, at least.
