Life is too serious not to have a sense of humor.

Ayekila-

Methylization is a term that is used with reference to the liver's metabolism  of some substances. I do not think that you can determine which one you are without some blood tests and a lot of money.

If you do not drink a lot and do not plan to take an overdose of Tylenol, I would not worry about being a fast or slow metabolizer.

If what I have said is totally unrelated to your question, then perhaps you have stumbled upon a scheme to empty your pockets.

Hello there JayR.

First of all thanks a lot for your prompt response to my post. I sincerely apologize for the delay to answer back. I did not have internet service for some days.

Actually, JayR methylation is an extremely important metabolic process that involves all areas of the body. It's essential to life, and decreased methylation in the body is associated with a lot of health conditions including cardiovascular, neurologic, cancer, etc...and yes, liver problems as well.

If the term methylation is not familiar to you, don't worry, I'm also in the middle of this riddle trying to understand the connection between slow oxidizer and methylation levels. I've continued to do some further research and I think the equation is this: Low oxidizer = low histaminic = high methylator or overmethylator...and a way to find out is performing either a histamine saliva test. Or simply taking 50 mg of niacin and wait to see if that dose causes flushing. If it does, that means that you are a high methylator. Uuuuuf. Not that simple.

Well, if you are a high methylator that means that Same (s-adenosylmethionine) may be NOT as good for you, as it may be for an undermethylator (high histaminic).

Please keep me posted.
