Hello, I am an 18 year old female. For many years I have had spontaneous thoughts about horrible things happening to me and I want them to happen. Such horrible things can be anywhere from car accidents to terminal diseases. There is someone I know who is in a hospital under serious circumstances and I actually feel jealous. These thoughts can come to me at any time, or at least I haven't noticed any pattern. I have tried to research this myself but haven't been able to find any substantial results. Can you please bring some light to my query?

i always thought things like that with like what would happen if i did this or that. but never have i wanted any thing to harm me in any way and to me it feels like some doesn't respect what God has brought you here on this earth and world for.and he wanted you to see how to solve,be prepared, and most of all is to over come all of that. so he could have just made another loving soul instead! and so after he then made you and every thing for you can be here ALIVE!!! to see how you can live LIVE!!! and KEEP!!!   your life for one  of the worlds challanges.   p.s. i think you should go get some help for thatSmile

Actually, this could be a symptom of depression. You might want to get checked out. I suspect it's not so mych that you actually want something terrible to happen to you as much as you crave attention. That's not necessarily a bad thing if you really are starved for attention.
