First you do recognize that there is a lot of pressures on perspecitive employees and this current job market. So, some anxiety is a natural response. I would suggest a few things. Being mindful when you are about to answer a question. Tell yourself you want to pause before answering the question. A part of your brain, the amygdala has a immediate reaction to stimulation and it instructs you to take immediate action. It takes about a 1/4 of a second for the part of your brain, your executive functions to buffer the amygdala's response. That may help. Trying some progressive muscle relaxation while waiting for the interview may help as well. You can google that to instruct you how to do it. It is very easy to learn.
I don't agree with the advice of an anxiolytic medication. If you have never take anxiolytics you are likely to have a dramatic response to them and may act sluggish and slow during an interview. Furthermore, this may come up for you in other ways. Learning to cope with your anxiety without pharmaceuticals is your best approach and you can become self reliant rather than dependent on an exogenous agent.
