After taking Proscar for 6 months, my last PSA ...

After taking Proscar for 6 months, my last PSA test results were 3.9. I thought this was good but the PA told me they have to double it when you are taking Proscar. They gave me the choice of having a biopsy done or waiting another 6 months for another PSA test. I chose the latter because I had a biopsy done a year ago and they didn't find any cancer. The test was not real bad but quite an uncomfortable procedure. Should I have had another biopsy or waited another 6 months?

Carmen,  If  it  was  me  I would  ask the  doctor   If  there   any  way  that  you  could  take  preventable  cancer  medications  to  treat  the Prostate  Gland  so  that  it  doesn't  go  into  cancer

I  believe  preventable  cancer  medications  can also   stop  from  anything  major  to  happen  from having  a   stage level  of  Prostate  cancer
