Why don't men want to have sex with women on their period?

I've dated my share of men.  Not one of them, until recently, has had a problem having sex with me while I'm on my period.  I don't understand why my current boyfriend doesn't like to do it.  He says that he's "just used to that b/c most girls don't want to do it then".  Ok, I don't know where he heard that!!??!!  But obviously (I'm not stupid) this is something HE has a problem with.  Also, let me say that it kind of hurts my feelings and makes me feel bad.  It's been really hard for me to "get over" b/c it's one of my favorite times to have sex and I really don't know if I could live with a guy that's so weirded out about it.  Any advice??  P.S.  any other time he's fine; he's practically all over me???

There's actually a lot of men out there that don't like it. From what I've heard, the blood is a big turn off...The thought of it during sex and then after sex having to see it all over their penis turns them off. It also feels different to some men...a lot wetter and slimy from the blood and can make a woman's vagina feel looser. If it's something you really enjoy, get him to try it...he may end up liking it if he is willing to do it at least once.

well all men are different and some maybe hes had a bad experience or mabey he thinks its not sanitary because ur period is a way to clean out ur body and maybe you just need 2 talk to him and ask him why cause im sure he can tell u better than any of us can

Well, tell the guy that's your favorite time. Tell him how you feel.

The blood is definately a risk guys don't wanna take. They don't want getting blood ALL over them when your having sex! Would you??

Thank you for your answer.  FYI, I have told him how I feel; that's how we got to this point in the first place.  Honestly though....I do think you're wrong about one thing....  When you say guys don't want to get blood all over them and then you say... Would You??   Well, first of all...you don't get blood ALL OVER them; it stays in one area and comes off easily with a wet wash cloth.  No big deal.  Secondly....No, I wouldn't mind the blood getting on me.  Like I said it's not that much blood.  Also, it's totally natural.  Blood and semen are very similar.  Why do guys think it's cool to come on a girl, but get grossed out if the girl bleeds on him a little.  I just think that's a double standard.  Also, if I loved the person and we were planning on getting married and starting a family (which is the case here), then no I would not care about getting their blood on me.  That's ridiculous I think!  I feel like if you're that scared of getting that persons blood on you then you're not really in love with one another.

Perhaps you are dating the wrong man?...A woman's monthly cycle is a natural process it is neither disgusting or unnatural ....If I may suggest try having him use a condom if he finds blood disgusting to be on his penis.
