I saw pictures of a man through mutal friends and am interested in him. He expressed interest. I really don't want to go through my friends to meet him just in case it doesnt work out. Any ideas? I do have his email address but don't know exactly what to say. He's also gun shy from a two year old bad divorce.
Live simply, love generously, care deeply,
speak kindly, leave the rest to God.
Hi,
I would e-mail him and tell him that you are interested in having coffee with him at Starbucks to get to know him. If he does not respond, that is OK. That means he not yet ready for a new relationship and you need to respect that.
Good luck.
I admit, I'm a hippie, get over it =]
I would start by talking to your friends. and if he has already expressed intrest, than i say take a shot at the email, start with something simple, if it dosent work out, thats just life, its full of ups and downs, i say go for the email tho =]

Its never too late to ask.
Always tell the truth. Email him tell him you enjoyed meeting him and wonder if perhaps you might meet for some refreshments? If he answers fine, if not you were looking anyway and move on.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
Take the risk! Email him and tell him that you're interested in going out to get know him better. And make sure to leave your telephone number in the email. You've got nothing to lose!
how did he express interest? Did he ask for his email address to be passed on to you? If you could explain the expressing interest a bit more it may help in knowing what to email him...
