If Democrats win the election in Nov. will the cost of medicine be reduced? Before I was forced to change a Railroad health care plan to Medicare D, I was paying $40 for 120 tablets for most of my medication. Today I pay $155.00 for 30 tablets. My age is 83 and I am low-income. My Medicare D plan is with AARP for which I pay $27.80 monthly. With my Medco plan from the Railroad I paid no monthly premium. I am the widow of a deceased Railroad employee and also a staunch Democrat.
