Hi,


On a 3 orthogonal dimension scale (X, Y, Z) X is usually the length, Y is usually the width, and Z is usually the depth.  However, it is not a rule and one can define each dimension per it's own will.  So sometimes you'll find that X is the width, Y is the length and Z is the height (etc).
