What is the meaning of life???

ok its an old one but a good one!

its like which came first the chicken, or the egg? (Egg obviously!!!)

so why do you think we are here?

what is our purpose, to learn, to consume, to evolve, to be?

what is your view, is it religious, is it logical, bizare, supernatural?

im intrueged about your ideas, why are we here???

I don't think there's a meaning for life, but we should make our lives, the lives of those around us and the lives of those who will follow us as good as possible. This alone should supply enough to think about to keep us busy for our lifetimes :)

 In most cases, we have our own agenda on what our purpose in life is. However from a spiritual perspective, there are two generic reasons why we are born. These reasons define the purpose of our lives at the most basic level.  They are:


  • To complete the give=and-take account we have with various people.

  • To make spiritual progress with the final aim of merging into God and therefore getting out of the cycle of birth and death.

on further thought i think our purpose is a much more basic and simple one. in affect we are very simular to ants but more complex, and our basic drive is for our needs = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow's_hierarchy_of_needs

which then leads us to collect and comunicate information, and then to find a partner and reproduce, then creating a good environment to bring up our young.

don't really think its more complicated than that really......

quite boring actually.....
