I recall reading two newspaper articles about the best meal in the world. In one article, the reporter was able to spend thousands of dollars and order the meal months in advance. I believe that the restaurant was in Italy. In the second article, a columnist wrote a parody, where he ate things like grilled cheese and drank a vintage can of soda.
Can anyone point me to either of these articles? Or, if you'd like, you can say your favorite restaurant or favorite food.
