3 ln (2x - 1) = 6
ln (2x - 1) = 2
2x - 1 = e^2
x = (1 + e^2) / 2

ln(2x-1)= 2

2x-1=e^2

therefore x = (e^2+1)/2

ukuhudu did it correctly.  Only to eliminate any confusion in his last line may we suggest the following representation as a minor improvement:

x = ((e^2)+1)/2 or more simply x = (1 + e^2)/2.
