Oh yeah and for bi polars it's no different. I'm bi polar.  My daughter and I have a wonderful relationship.  It can happen and also remember it may or may not be passed on to your child. In my case it wasn't but it was to 2 of my brothers, My Mother is also bipolar and one of my brothers who suffered from it most ended his life.  I raised a good child and you can too. And you can have a good relationship with your child.  QUIT Feeling guilty! Show me one parent that hasn't yelled at their kid.  It's what you do afterwards that makes the difference

Children can be cruel.  But it's helps to remember that she doesn't mean it.  She is just looking for a way to hurt you.  When she says that to you again say well I hope you have 6 children and every single one of them are just like you! Hang in there. I know the words hurt.  But it isn't really how she feels.
