I REALLY like this guy, and I want to ask him out. But I'm afraid that if he says no things will get awkward between us and I don't want to kill our friendship. Any advice?

You might want to try making plans with him as friends first before asking him out romantically. Find something that you have in common, or a movie that you both really want to see, and invite him out. That way, you can see how you interact one-on-one, and get a sense for whether there is chemistry between you. If you do decide to ask him out, then you can start by telling him how much his friendship means to you. Be honest, and let him know what your concerns are. You could tell him that you feel something special between you two, but if you are mistaking strong feelings of friendship and he does not reciprocate the feelings, then you will understand. Always be honest and then he will feel comfortable enough to return that honesty.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Wouldn't you rather know if this guy is interested or not?

Just ask him out! Get it over and done with! If you are already friends, then his possible reluctance to take the relationship to another level won't be damaging. But, you don't even know that he will reject you!

As you REALLY like him, take a chance. What do you have to lose? He wouldn't be much of a friend if he made things awkward just because you asked him out.

hi my name is marissa and the same thing happened to me. I am totally head over heels in luv with this guy named gabriel and i asked him out but he tld me that he likes me more than a friend but doesnt want a girlfriend right now. so i would suggest go for it. Cuz even though they say that they dont want a girlfriend it will take dem a little bit to ask u out

all you have to do is say"hey i really like you but if u dont feel da same way can we at least still b friends ?"Just b urself
