Please give me some makeup tips for my coloring. Thanks!

I would like to find what lisptick and eyeshadow colors look good on someone like me who has very white skin, medium brown hair and black brown eyes. I have tried every lisptick shade I have seen so far, includng "neutrals" and all the glosses, but nothing looks right.

I think that their suggestion of matching a plum \ wine color lipstick for fair skin is really good - why not give it a shot?!
