I'm not sure what exact answer you're wanting, but you certainly need fire detectors in your hallways of your home, on every level if there is more than one. You can't go wrong with having one in the kitchen, since that is where so many fires start. And while you're doing fire, don't forget the carbon monoxide detector.This is something you don't see or smell, but it is as deadly as fire. Stay safe.
