Most of the shadows of this life are caused by our standing in our own sunshine.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

I think that one of the best ways to keep the spark is to experience new things together.  Go on trips together, camp together, go to new places, do a road trip, go to a museum, go on a walk or bikeride to a new place.  Anything really that is fun and that you can enjoy together will create new stories, new things to talk about... memories.  I hope this helps. Try it out.  Good luck.

You need to get out of the rut you're in. Even changing the scenery you're used to can do the trick. When you do the same things over and over again you're sure to get bored.

I suggest you read this article if you're interested in improving your sex life.

Good Luck.

The answer depends on who you're talking to.  Here are some great answers from men and women on GirlsAskGuys:

From the ladies:

  • Ok my boyfriend and I have only been dating for a year and 3 months so we are still pretty exciting. Anyways we like going new places. Instead of going to the movies like most couples do we would go to a fun, silly, crazy places.
  • I buy sexy outfits from Fredrick's or Victoria's Secret and we stop by Spencer's and pick up games to play. Although sex isn't everything, a fun sex life can help a relationship
  • We go out on a date, one set night a week, and take it in turns to decide what the night is going to involve. We usually go out for dinner somewhere, and then often come home and talk or watch a movie together. It just reminds us to spend some time together with our phones, computers and TV off, unless it is part of the plans for the evening.  We also try each day to do at least one nice thing for each other and say one nice thing to each other. Something that will make the other person's day a little brighter.

From the men:

  • One word! Communication. You have to build that closeness and intimacy, and sustain it. Communication helps do this! Talk about anything and everything. Be best friends in addition to lovers!
  • If you "definitely still love him and wouldn't trade him for the world," then don't worry if your relationship is starting to show signs of its age. But if you're getting bored with him, you should talk to him about how you feel.
  • First off, that new and intense honeymoon phase is supposed to evolve into something deeper and more meaningful. I'm not saying passion dies by any means. Make sure you both are still maintaining a healthy individual life so that you can both bring something to the table. As far as passion goes, talk about it. I am sure you both have things that you could do that are new and exciting but haven't brought them into light. Make sense?
Hopefully, you find this information helpful.  There is a lot more information on keeping the relationship alive and spicy on GirlsAskGuys.com, plus other advice on relationships and dating!
