I am in a lesbian relationship for 22 years. We have not made love for 13 years. I still love my companion, but when I speak to her about our lack of intimacy, she tell me, she is no longer there...She then tell me to go and be intimate with someone else...who ever I want. To me that is playing with FIRE...I have suggested that we go to couseling, but she says that ,that is a waste of time. Place give me some advice.
P.S. We have a son who is 12 years old and as soon as my partner became pregnant our intimacy stopped... I think I have stayed becasue I love my son more than anything in this world and I dont want him to suffer. Place advise...
Love is the battery of life....
Hi,That's bad to all of you (to you, to your partner and to your son). You are right: The best solution to the problem is get counseling, but if she opposes to that than you have 2 options: Stay and suffer (living sexless life) or move on, painfull as it be, and find someone that deserves you and will make you happy (with healthy reach life [that sure includes good healthy satisfying sex]). I would like to assure you that your son can sense the tention between you and your partner (and surely suffers). Best regards,
First, your son is most important. I have 11 yr old and a 35 yr old sons. She may have had either, a concern about your relationship and exposing him to this lifestyle, or it could be hormonal. I am a man, but when a woman becomes pregnant, parenting and other natural instincts take over. She may not even realize what has happened. Maybe, even a social stigma, she thinks her son will face; and trust me, he will, and it scares her. I am not gay, my brother was and died of aids when it was new and, at that time, it was a very quick and sure death sentence. Still, love is hard. Talk to her about these things. Is it fears for her son, or a loss of affection towards you? Above all, Communicate And maybe like her, put him and his future treatment in mind, because he has two mothers, first. Gay lifestyle is still not popular, still. I lost my closest friend and brother to it. I still know it is genetic makeup and not a choice issue, but! I hope the best to you.
